How to Measure Your Hand for Bangle Size
Finding the right bangle size is easy with these simple steps. Follow the guide below to ensure a perfect fit for your bangles.
Step 1: Gather Your Materials
You will need:
- A flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper and a ruler
- A pen or marker
Step 2: Measure Your Hand
-
Position Your Hand: Bring your thumb and little finger together, as if you were about to put on a bangle.
-
Wrap the Tape or Paper: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hand (over the knuckles and around the thumb). If you are using a strip of paper, mark the spot where the paper overlaps.
-
Read the Measurement: If using a measuring tape, read the measurement where the tape meets the zero point. If using paper, measure the length from the end of the paper to the mark using a ruler.
Step 3: Determine Your Bangle Size
Use the measurement from Step 2 to find your bangle size from the chart below:
Hand Measurement (cm) | Bangle Size (Diameter, cm) | Bangle Size (Diameter, inches) |
---|---|---|
16.5 - 17.0 | 5.7 | 2.2 |
17.1 - 17.5 | 6.1 | 2.4 |
17.6 - 18.0 | 6.5 | 2.6 |
18.1 - 19.0 | 7.0 | 2.8 |
19.1 - 19.5 | 7.3 | 2.10 |
19.6 - 20.0 | 7.6 | 2.12 |
Tips for the Perfect Fit
- Ensure the measuring tape or paper is snug but not too tight.
- Double-check your measurement for accuracy.
- If you are between sizes, opt for the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
